DIGITALISM

DIGITALISM

This is what Daft Punk would sound like if it still had a drummer in the lineup," Digitalism was said to have said shortly after the release of their first singles and concerts. Jens "Jence" Moelle and İsmail "Isi" Tüfekçi decided to form a band based on two DJs, but which cannot be confused with any other duo on the club scene. To play like a real band - this is their eternal motto, which they tried to implement not only live, but also in the studio, while recording the albums "Idealism" and "I Love You, Dude."

On the first one they messed around with their dirty synth sound, on the second one - released not so long ago, in May 2011 - they mellowed a bit, but it's still hard to stand still while listening to their tracks. Julian Casablancas of The Strokes, who guest sang on the track "Forrest Gump," knows something about this, and you'll soon find out too, during SnowFest Festival in Szczyrk! Ready for electronic "Pogo" under the Skalite hill?
